You need to ask the school to do a 3rd step verification through DHS. Every school should accept it, but most of them don’t know about the DHS verification

Yes. It is enough. However, not every college is educated on how to process paperwork regarding VAWA applicants. They need to do a secondary verification because your data doesn’t match FAFSA social security records. When they process it the result is “unmatched”. So I recommend you to educate the financial aid officers at your college how to proceed in your case.

My college said I didn’t qualify. I asked them if it was based on the school or fafsa. They said it was based on FAFSA so I told them that FAFSA allows them do a verification for my case and they did. waiting for feedback
