Finally, one journey comes to an end, and another awaits.
After few anxious months, I finally received my plastic cards today.
For those who are still patiently waiting for USCIS to process your case, all I can say is wait for your turn. There is nothing that you can do to expedite this process.
For those who believe USCIS has made any processing errors, or your case is outside the ‘normal’ processing times, please get hold of Tier 2 officers ASAP, explain your case, and get answers, and get your issue sorted out. Importantly, please know that the US Government is on your side in this journey. If you feel that you are not getting the help from USCIS, you can reach out to your local congressman and/or senator and request an inquiry to be made on your behalf. You also have an option to request your official document via FOIA. These steps do not adversely affect your case. These are just some options that US Government has for you.
Thanks, and take care.

@Saher Mohammed do you know your field office information ? congratulations!
Saher MohammedJul 22, 2023
@GC ASAP I first chatted with Emma and requested to chat with a live agent. I briefly chatted with the Tier 1 office and tried explaining my case. She said she was not able to answer my question and said she would forward my request to Tier 2 office. Tier 2 officer called me after 7 days.

@Nil Nil my case was at NBC since the start.

Did the Tier 2 agent help you in any way?
Saher MohammedJul 22, 2023
@user123 4 yes they did.
user123 4Jul 23, 2023
@Saher Mohammed Do you mind elaborating more? Did the tier 2 agent just give you information or did they take any actions to progress your case?
Saher MohammedJul 23, 2023
@user123 4 - Tier 2 officer understood the question/ concern I had. Based on that, she forwarded my queries to the correct officer (visa officer). I also got an email confirmation from Tier 2 mentioning that she has transferred my query to the concerned visa officer. A week from that, I got an email from USCIS indicating that they are reviewing my case and I should be either be getting a decision or further action needed shortly. After 20 days from this email, my case was approved.

congratulations @Saher Mohammed , if your case wasn't outside of processing time what was the reason for request to Tier 2 officer? in your post you mentioned about USCIS error? could you please elaborate? did you also asked for help local congressman and/ or senator ?
It's seems to me that your case wasn't outside of normal processing time and despite that you were pushing it and looking for all the options to expedite it? Am I right?
