f2a retrogressed for April on the visa bulletin, does this apply to you? Iβm in a similar position not even an EAD though.
If anyone knows please comment this is a major change if it applies to already filed f2a cases
Carl RuizMar 24, 2023
@bobby bootstrap I'm adjusting my status here in the US. But my spouse who petitioned me is an LPR. Also I think the retrogression will happen in April, so I think I'm just in luck to get an approval before April. Are you adjusting your status or doing consular processing?
bobby bootstrapMar 24, 2023
@Carl Ruiz same also adjusting within the US, PD Sept of last year, spouse is LPR too. l really hope you got a visa number assigned already just 7 days away from this retrogression taking effect. for me it looks like whenever bulletin moves or spouse becoming citizen, whichever comes first. just devastated really :(
Carl RuizMar 24, 2023
@bobby bootstrap I'd also like to know if Adjustment of Status (c/o LPR spouse) is affected with this retrogression. Or is it only applicable for Consular Processing?
How many more years for your spouse to become a citizen?
bobby bootstrapMar 25, 2023
@Carl Ruiz if itβs only consular then our situation would be same as married to citizen.
I guess your situation will show for sure what happens.
please let us know how it goes.
fingers crossed you get it π€πΌ
spouse needs another 2 yrs + processing time for n400 π

Carl RuizMar 26, 2023
@D D Hi! Nope, I did not overstay and we filed everything while I was still legal to stay.
