@Mr x How was your interview?
a
anonymous memberMay 4, 2026
@Swera MMD The interview took about 1:40hrs, the agent was very detailed but also very nice. I was with my husband and an interpreter (I didn’t take a lawyer with me because I thought was too expensive). So she asked my address historic for the past 5years and proof of them.Every single job and address I had in here. When did I arrive in the US? With which Visa? What did I do before coming to US? How long did I study? Where? Proof of our marriage. If it was our only marriage. if we have kids. Last arrival before filling. Last arrival in the US (we used our advance parole last year). She asked about the medical. (We had new ones ready). And then she started to ask about my petioner. How did I find them? I answered through BDV. If I ever worked for them. She started to ask everything about BDV. What is BDV? What’s the address? How did I hear about them? Who did I talk with? How we communicate? She asked if we ever meet them in person? How much did I pay them? How did I pay them? If I had any proof of payment. How the process with them work? She even made a joke about we “trusting BDV without even meet them”. Asked about 30 yes/no questions, for both. For my husband only asked what he did before coming to the US, if he was working now, work address. So basically she made a whole timeline since we arrive in the US. I gave her my supplement J. She printed all the questions she made and how was the process and told me to check if it was correct and sign. She gave us a paper saying that USCIS is gonna review our case and give us an answer by mail. It took 7 months for the approval.
