@Charlie SC The first one was to prove that I maintained status since I got here and also to prove my marriage because my wife is the main applicant. The second one was for medical. GC approved two days after USCIS received the package.

@B O I did my medicals in October 2022 and I sent them with the whole package, should I receive a RFE for medicals? or the medical is good for more years? I am wondering.

@EB3 UNSKILLED Your medical is going to expire in October 2024, so you should be fine with it. No worries. The USCIS updated the rules and said the following about the expiration “Effective April 4, 2024, any Form I-693 that was properly completed and signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023, does not expire…”

@B O can you please share with us what type of question did they ask you in interview?

@PRC . It was a lot of questions about our story since we got here, our marriage, my wife’s job (she is the main applicant), and also our status. They told us there was a gap in the system and they had to make sure we maintained status before moving forward in the process. This gap actually didn’t exist, I don’t know how they reached that conclusion. The interview was smooth even though they focused on that issue. 03 months later we got the first RFE asking us to prove our marriage and our status. It seems like the interview wasn’t enough to make clear we were married and maintained status.

@B O No, i already submitted new medical RFE during interview time. interview was 10 April,2024. Recently my I 485 status changes to fingerprints were taken and applied to your case 10 days ago.

@hnk 91 At the same day. The package got there at 8:20AM and the status got updated about an hour later.

@hnk 91 They received the response on Tuesday and approved it on Thursday. So, two days later.

@N Q I received it on Tuesday (08/13). It took 13 days since the approval. Thanks God for that. 🙏

@a T Right at the following day the status changed to “case was approved”. And three days later the status got updated to “card was mailed to me”.
