congratulations
BL DSep 7, 2024
congratulations what was the RFE for? It’s stensge that EB2-1 took long for you even you applied in Nov! I have seen folks getting approved from March and April submission under same category. Though I have Feb submission and still waiting after RFE.
Charlie SCSep 7, 2024
@BL D It's very random process. Hope you get outcome soon.
Charlie SCSep 7, 2024
@Shah Fahad His PD is July 2023. Is it current?
Rijo RijoSep 7, 2024
@che del, Congratulations. I have same question as @Charlie SC. Is this from LC? Or did you port PD?
Jorge AlbertoSep 7, 2024
@BL D I am EB2-1, applied in Nov and still waiting for approval. There’s no logic in how they approve, I have seen folks approved in just 49 days.
Shah FahadSep 7, 2024
@Charlie SC He probably made a mistake. he isn't even suppose to file I485 if it's not current. it will be rejected straightaway.
Charlie SCSep 7, 2024
@Shah Fahad I think perm works differently.
Shah FahadSep 8, 2024
I don't understand perm.
Charlie SCSep 8, 2024
@Shah Fahad Perm is filed before I-140. In these cases, perm filing date is your PD.
Shah FahadSep 8, 2024
i see. thanks.
BL DSep 8, 2024
@Jorge Alberto yea it doesn’t make any sense as how they approve cases. Some are approved under same category and their processing time was pretty short and some have been waiting for long.
What’s your PD?
Those visa officers are just so disorganized and moody that each individual could good enough to work on your file professionally and some just have papers spread all over around them and drinking pop can and eating at the same place like a douchebags. So really it all depends whom your file is with and if he is good enough or not to work on your file.

submittedy aos in nov 23 and got birth certificate rfe in jan.24 and responded in feb 24 (although i submitted birth certificate with original filing too). it has been almost 9 months since then and they hv not moved on it. it will be one year this month since I filed aos. my case is Nebraska Service center and its eb 2-1. processing time being shown is 14.5 months for this service center and I am already 12 months. can anyone tell me what are my options over and above being patient? can i reach out UScis or check somehow
