what were the discrepancies maybe we can offer some advice. also did they send you rfe before the denial to provide a chance to explain?
carlito reyesNov 4, 2024
Try Moumita Rahman, she is also expensive but i havent heard anyone having bad experience with her. But i also heard you can’t talk directly with her which can be a problem
carlito reyesNov 4, 2024
Also Agarwal Law Group from DC. You can talk directly with her during your consultation (150$ for 30 minutes)

@Michael A. still I don’t understand what was denied. Is it the I-360 or I-485? Because according to you your l-360 was approved in February. Be cleared with what you are saying

@Michael A. you had an interview or something that you say your statement did not match
beast bNov 5, 2024
can you please give more detail what kind of inconsistency ?
Mickey snrNov 5, 2024
@AUG 22 she does VAWA cases ? and was she your attorney ?
Mickey snrNov 5, 2024
@franny zee yes they did request rfe prior to the denial.. the issue here is my lawyer did take time to scrutinize my documents to align with it date on her declaration documents.. thats why there were to many discrepancies with dates and address
Mickey snrNov 5, 2024
@T y The issue is that after our separation, I moved to a new residence. However, my ex-partner was still listed on some documents as being married to me. When I submitted these documents in response to the RFE, it was my attorney’s responsibility to explain that this was my new address post-separation, and that I no longer live at our former shared residence. Unfortunately, the documents were submitted without any clarification, so USCIS assumed that we were still living together. I believe this is the clearest way to explain the situation.

@Thank you Lord you have done it again asarmich91@gmail.com
franny zeeNov 5, 2024
@Michael A. thats an easy fix. Get a new lawyer that will fight for you and is very thorough. You can also check out Olaleye Law firm. she fights for her clients. you might have to file an appeal 1290b. ive seen people file it and get approved. Just clearly explain the discrepancies with supporting evidence and clarify all grey areas and you will be approved
Mickey snrNov 5, 2024
@franny zee i planned on doing that… im currently leaning towards odulami law firm does anyone has any experience with them ?

Ms. Greencard HolderNov 5, 2024
@Michael A. my lawyer was Margaret w. Wong & associates in GA if you want to give them a chance. With their help currently have a GC in hand
GOD HAVE MERCYNov 5, 2024
@Michael A. , stop using black attorney, use White Attorney . you are not listening. Don’t use my attorney, but seek for White Attorney. Seek for the Attorney that acquired their law studies from this country and not foreign qualifications. This advice is from experiences
GOD HAVE MERCYNov 5, 2024
You are using Attorneys that are only after your $ Money. Find a white attorney that probably has immigration working experience

People, you can get the best lawyer in the world but ensuring that your story is straight is your responsibility not your attorney’s. For them, that’s going the extra mile and they really don’t have to. what an attorney will do is write up a cover sheet explaining the evidence that YOU provided to them. they won’t talk about something that isn’t there if you don’t give it to them. I made sure after submitting evidence to call my attorney and discuss each one. I would ask if it was appropriate, needed or accurate because I knew I couldn’t afford a denial. Please be vigilant when submitting evidence. Make it your mission to ask questions and schedule additional phone/zoom consultations with your attorney before and after an RFE response. don’t leave anything to chance

@Michael A. I used Kozycki Law back in Feb 2021, got vawa approved Dec 2022,, got i485 approved Aug 2023, joined military became a citizen Aug 2024. I don’t know why people are made to pay hella of money to file vawa now, smh
