Finally, Finally, Finally
Thanks to Allah, case was approved after 2 years and 3 days later.
There is no world to describe how relieved i feel.
Pd is 2019 row.
I140 approved in feb 2021 premium.
Applied 485 in nov 2020. Cases were in Texas until August 1s 2022, then transferred both to Nbc.
Primary case approved in August 23 and card arrived on August 29. No interview, no rfe. Case never got to any local office.
Beneficiary case got rfe ( twice)
( first one, asking for proof about how to maintained non immigration status)
on August 27 responded on September 2.
September 8 got updated that case is pending.
October 27 got another rfe about medical.
We sent medicals together with our case. (no covid vaccination card was added cause it wasn’t required by then) however they asked me to renew my medical with vaccination card and never asked my husband to renew his.
Medical Rfe response received on Nov 8.
Both times they updated the system to rfe response received in same days.
Case approved on Nov 15 and card arrived on
Nov 23.
Reached out to two senators and a congressman in my state many times. I dont know if helped or not.
We started this in 2018. Every step on the way we got many issues. Documents got lost twice. Had to fired my lawyer and got another one. My case was rejected cause stupid lawyer forgot the sign first page. Both of my lawyers made me lose tons of money and time. This process definitely took joy out of my life. 2020 was the worst year to apply for sure. I thought many many times that maybe its not meant to be. I was so hopeful to get my greencard before 2021 and 2022 fiscal year end but didn’t happen. Cases are definitely not processed by priority dates or application date. Its pure luck. I got so frustrated especially when i see 2022 cases gets approve in less then 3 months. There is a very huge gap between some cases which is not fair. I guess everyone has their own timing and like life some people are luckier than some of us.
Hopefully, the way of doing business of USCIS gets better and processing times get improved. Don’t lose hope, keep praying and pushing. It will happen eventually.
Love you fam 💕
