congratulations! what evidence did you use for expedited request?

I work for a start up so letter from my employer about financial losses to both parties, personal expenses that would take a toll due to job loss and evidence for personal travel reasons.

Was there a downgrade from EB2 to EB3?

I’d love to know what evidence you used as well

did they actually approve the expedite or never got an answer? how long did it take after expedite? oh and congrats!!!!

I submitted an expedite followed by an expedite through Congressperson with supporting documents. Once this was done, status changed to Request for Evidence was received and we are reviewing it. Took 3 weeks from that to New Card is being produced

okay. trying to stay hopeful it’s been 28 days since I got the “received and reviewing it”

One thing that I did do was follow up every week over phone. Last week one officer was able to submit a follow up to my expedite and I think that helped nudge the case. You could try that too

interesting. I will try that tomorrow! is there anything specific you asked them? I feel like they are always sooo cold and rude.

have you done it before or it was the first time you expedited?

@deds sb Some of them are not as inclined to answer but when I indicated the amount of time that passed since the last update then they were willing to submit a follow-up. Or try asking for a Tier 2 agent.

are tier 2 officers helpful?

congrats!! But 402 days and that only you expedited!
