finally combo card approved
I just took my chances two days ago when I called USCIS to expedite my EAD. This morning I got an e-mail saying it's under review and now I got confirmation for combo card. Totally unexpected, but very happy to see it, especially after I missed a trip with my husband last month to Portugal and Netherlands. Now I can do the next trip to London in September. Cheers USCIS, you've given me what I most needed right now. You can take your time with the GC now, SF office, but no more than 2 years please

I don't know if the expedite did the trick or if it was just my turn. I didn't submit any documentation, just told them over the phone that the reason is I'm being offered job interviews that I can't attend. So who knows?!?

I took my chances. I mean...they either approve the expedite request, either they deny it. Nothing to lose really

Hi Chris did they give you a reference number when you contacted them? also how long did it take?

Heidy and HB, I got a mail with a reference number and saying it was under review. they didn't ask for any documents. 4 hours later my combo card was approved
