hello everyone . thank you all very much . I started my process in 2019. we field I-130 separately . Also I had J1 2 year residency requirement for which I had to get a waiver before even submitting I- 485 form. therefore it took 5 years . interview was very simple , after 5 years of marriage any question they throw is super easy . mostly asked about how we met, who said I love you first , what places have you been . waiting for interview was much harder than actual interview .

@s s congratulations. I also had to get the j1 waiver, however it wasn’t approved at the time of the interview. so after the interview they requested it as a RFE. and I sent it in a month later. it’s been 10 months and I haven’t heard back a thing.

@i can't wait to see if the green card is really green. @s s God willing you will get answers soon! one thing I learned during the process is to stop reading blogs about problems people faced during their immigration process . otherwise you will keep thinking it is gonna happen to you, stress over and you end up hurting yourself morally and possibly physically. what is meant for you never get lost. most people’s bad experience don’t really apply to you .
