@Anel Acosta congratulations!! were you already a citizen when you first filed? I filed for my son in sep 2023 but I was still a permanent resident. I just became a citizen this year

@mimi mimi thank you! my stepmother is my petitioner and yes, she’s a citizen. i think your petition shouldn’t take much longer cause now it will be processed as a citizen and that speeds up the process. it’s taking around 16.5 months but i saw random cases that get approved before that. good luck and keep praying 🙏
