Finally!
it’s been a long and frustrating road, but finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Although we still have work to do, this is a huge weight off our shoulders. Stay strong, stay vigilant, and don’t give up hope everyone. Wishing all Godspeed on quick approvals so you can be with your loved ones.

Thank you everyone! As for the RFE, they wanted additional information on the validity of our relationship. Now, I will state that this might get a little drawn out but I will do my best explain.
We met in September 2019 in Thailand during my 2 week holiday. We exchanged casual conversation throughout my trip and continued after my return to the United States. As everyone knows Covid came shortly after and the world changed as we knew it. With travel restrictions in place I was unable to return to Thailand until November 2021 at the Phuket Sandbox program (don’t get me started on the fiasco that was just to travel there) to meet with her. We had continued contact throughout the pandemic lockdown via video calls. when I initially sent the original petition in, I proved all information and documentation required. I also explained that face to face visits were not possible and included my 2 canceled itineraries during the shutdown.
Fast forward to receiving the RFE notification. With my return trip to Thailand during November 21 for my surprise engagement and 2 week holiday with her, I was able to provide them undeniable proof (RFE contained approximately 27 pages plus 20 time/dated photos of us together during our time together in November).
So our situation was unique, but 474 days later we are now moving forward. Still awaiting our case information from the NVC.
