yes @mo mo when I submitted initially , we weren’t divorced, a year later we got divorced .

so what are the proof you gave them pls

@gbagba Ellah I submitted joint bank account , pictures , divorce decree , auto insurance ( was in my ex spouses name ) not even mine , my personal affidavit , and two affidavits of support from 2 of my friends that was all . I barely had any documents but God did !!!!

@I G yes I had a lawyer after submitting me application, she said she was unavailable for the interview date so I had to hire another lawyer a month to my interview but yea il advise you get a lawyer just because they know the law more than us , they know the loop holes that you and I don’t know . might cost u some money but it’s worth it in the end especially if you get a competent lawyer that knows what they’re doing and has a lot of knowledge and experience

@breezy j congratulations! 🎉 Were you waiting to get the final divorce decree that it lasted a year to respond to the RFE?

@John Smith thank you , I submitted it but apparently, my lawyer said the copy I submitted wasn’t clear enough so that triggered the interview most likely even tho I didn’t really have any substantial evidence but my affidavit was very strong and detailed .
