this green card is for my wife. I received my green card first a year ago and she was RFEd. first RFE was for bona fide marriage - lawyers did not submit proof of marriage. second and third RFE were related to her J1 visa and if she was eligible to travel while green card was pending. all of this could have been avoided if my initial lawyers were diligent in the fillings. my first lawyers were through my employer and took 2 years to even submit the documents (eg PERM). my second lawyers I paid for. if you can avoid it, do not get lawyers through your employer. get your own representation
