@mech t yes and in my experience it takes 6/8 weeks before FO approves a I-485 once they receive it

Hey Andy, Congratulations. Did you get interview waiver? When did you get to know about the interview (waiver/date) after the case moved to FO? And was that communication through email or physical mail. thanks in advance.

I never got any communication around interview waiver but since my FO was non-local I was pretty much not expecting interviews

yes the PD listed in the approved I-140 is the best way to be sure if porting has happened automatically

@Blue Blue no it straight away went to new card produced followed by approved

@Andy Andy damn nice automatic porting. mine was not ported automatically because the previous one was approved about a month before the second 140 approval. Tried to send a letter to recapture the previous priority date, but no confirmation given. now CRP forever 😂

@. . I would say around 2 months. please do note that my case initially went from nbc to fo and back to nbc and then back to fo

@. . me and my dependents had submitted Medicals when we did the concurrent filing. hence no rfe and all cases got approved simultaneously

@Andy Andy good call. just did the ombudsman request. even the confirmation email says "we prioritize delays with USCIs notifying the US department of States national visa center of an approval petition when your priority date has been current"

@Blue Blue can you please share how to do ombudsman request?

@Blue Blue I had used the help from my congressman to be sure the PD associated with my I-485. if ombudsman doesn’t help, go to your congressman .

@Andy Andy I have tried the congressman in my district. They are extremely slow and unresponsive

received the GC card today. it’s really green in color :)

@Andy Andy I finally got my early PD confirmed and will be applied to my I485 today. thanks to ombudsman. how long did you wait after your congressman helped you with the PD porting confirmation?
