Filled for a green card year ago without EAD, can I apply for EAD now? will it be free?
I heard that when you’re filling for a green card you are getting free ead, can I apply after a year?

Yes. They don't ask for fee. I applied for greencard based on asylum without applying for EAD. I got a job using I-94 but later I thought it wise to get EAD. I then applied for EAD with no fee paid in August, and this September, I got the EAD.
