did they explain why? also did you guys file for I-130 or did that get approved already that’s why you are only filing those 2?

@S M one the receipt it says application fee amount is wrong. i did called the cs and they will give me multiple answers. we filed for i-129f

so you need to file fees for I-129F (K-1) , I-485 plus biometrics correct? According to boundless the I-129f is $535, I-485 is $1140 plus $85 for biometrics so $1760 in total. I don’t believe there is a fee for I-765 until April 1st.

oh ok so the I-129f has already been filed - you don’t have to pay for the I-765 when adjusting status (if you can get it in before April 1, 2024). I’d just send it back asap with fees for I-485 and biometrics $1225 total

I don’t think you have to submit an I-130 because you’ve already established the relationship by filing the I-129f. I believe you just have to submit the I-485 along with your I-864 (affidavit of support) and medical if you didn’t get one before entering the US. https://citizenpath.com/adjustment-of-status-k-1-visa-entry/

I am here on K1 and i only submitted i485, I-765 I-864... No need to apply for i-130
