Field office
Please, I wish to know how I can determine the field office where my case is currently. In February 2024, I filed for I-485 based on an approved I-140. I also filed for I-765 and I-131.
My PD is Jan, 24 2023.
A little bit of my background: I came in with F1 in Jan 2018, status got terminated April 2018. Filed for asylum November 2018. At the moment, asylum application is still pending.
However, I filed for NIW-EB2 in January 2023 and got approved April, 2023.
After several consultations with people with similar experience in and outside of this platform, I decided to file for I-485 as opposed to consular processing. I was initially considering consular processing because of the fear that adjustment of status maybe denied due to termination of my F1 just 3 months after entering the US (loss of status) and asylum was not filed until over 6 months after.
I am sincerely hoping that my case is approved very soon. My I-485 application is now over 133 days, and haven't heard anything, including the I-765 and I-131 applications.
How do I know which field office is handling my case?
And please, does anyone have a similar or very close situation as mine.
Thank you!

Your case is so complicated. Asylum is not a status so you may or may not be approved. Also overstay can affect your status. I suspect you will be called in for interview. Also AOS approval or denial takes a while and some had to wait for over 1 year to get an approval, so you are within processing time

I fear you have a problem. i-485 can only be filed when you are in status. as your F-1 status was terminated, you were not in status when you filed i-485. That may bring an issue.

You could have immediately apply for Asylum upon F1 termination. Asylum is not a status however you don't accrue unlawful status according to uscis. Whatever the case maybe, prepare yourself for interview and prepare yourself for consular processing as well while you stay positive.

@S D no chance you will approve for I-485 because you was asylum pending and that it's not legal status.

@S D You can be an asylum seeker and get your green card. but if you accumulate ilegal time in USA 🇺🇸 you are gonna be in trouble. probably you need to leave USA 🇺🇸 to complete your process
