Kay keep the faith, you will get through this. l a, on year 2 heading for year 3 for my family members.... brother to be exact. takes 123.5 ,months to 160 months approximately so l have been informed by USCIS. your children will be with you soon. and it won't be no were near my brother's wait time.

We sent in an expedite request a week ago. Hopefully that will be fruitful.

understandable. my situation is that my wife who is the US citizen is pregnant … we both work right now but she won’t be working in few months… I guess I was wondering if this could be a reason for them to schedule the interview soon? that’s what I’m trying to expedite which is is first… approval or interview.

@ Denis g, after you submit first form you wait for the letter from USCIS (approval with receipt number) then off to phase two for another round of scrutiny and approvals. if it were me l would file everything concurrently to make a smooth transition. if your wife is pregnant get a hold of Emma or USCIS agent and ask to expidite your case. if cild is born in USA you may have less filing for the child (may l say).

one thing l found out from talking to immigration, biometrics, moreso, background check can hold up the process.
