yes because i didn’t have a job then due to covid so we didn’t have much documents to give to uscis

@mercy I did my interview from April 2021 n still waiting at long island FO. so just trust the frustrating process

Lol @Manuel you are incorrect. If @mercy files a writ of mandamus, her case decided her case will be decided within the next 30days. it is preposterous that her case is still pending after interviewing in Nov 2020.

it is ridiculous for a family based I-485 to stay pending for two years when people get approved in 6-8months. Mandamus doesn’t piss USCIS off, it compels them to make a decision on your case…which I must mention that they owe you a decision

I don’t know how else to say this. I-485 does not take two years. Lol. They dumped her case somewhere and valuable time that should be counting towards her becoming a citizen is wasting. It’s even funny and ridiculous that we are having this back and forth on something valuable. Well if you guys enjoy waiting, you might as well continue 🤷‍♂️

I should have had a decision on my case last year itself but because of my lawyer & uscis mistake my case got denied last year in January & uscis took 5 months to reopen it even though it was uscis’s mistake… that’s y my case has been delayed

And you still retained the same lawyer?

yes because no1 wanted to take my case half way

@Rocco Forte yes she did put me in trouble for the second time… I had asked her to send my work permit renewal the moment my case was reopened but still she delayed it & sent my renewal after my work permit expired

She’s very incompetent
