Fastest way for my gf to come to the US to live and work after marriage
I’m a GC holder living in the US planninig on marring my gf living in Brazil. What’s our best option to be together. Option 1) applying for GC in Brazil 2) she comes to the US on a student visa then OPT then AOS 3) we both move to Mexico or Canada while going through consular processing and I fly to the US for work recurrently 4) another option I might not be aware of?

apply in Brazil.. i moved here first and 225 days waiting and nothing happened, my husband is a citizen, i wish id started the process in Brazil first or the student visa is a very good option

there is no faster way for green card holder if you are US citizen then it might be faster, for LPR F2A spouse process is 29 months depends on service center, the faster way is she can come to USA on visitor visa or student marry to you then she can do adjustment of status in USA, better spoke to good attorney to do this all wish you good luck

@Aya Lon 225 is less than a year cant use your case as an example, most cases taking 1 year or more to approve, student option is best. Take my advice and join the army reserves or army National guard you will get citizenship sametime after training i know quite a few friends who did it plus u can also watch videos on YouTube @Juv B
