If your I-140 petition is approved, your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 may be eligible to apply for admission to the United States in E34 (spouse of a “skilled worker” or “professional”) or EW4 (spouse of an “other worker”). and E35 (child of a “skilled worker” or “professional”) or EW5 (child of an “other worker”).
can anybody explain this to me please.

if you fall under the categories you mentioned and you’ve got your petition approved, your wife and kids can get the green card with you if you apply for them.

@Mohammad Matalkah if my I-140 is approved but my PD is not current can my wife and kids still apply for the visa category ?

@aj k this is were they can apply.
now, the NVC will come back to you to fill the Ds260 and pay the fees, during this process you can apply for everyone and pay the fees for them as well

so my PD is September 2022. my I-140 was approved 9 months ago. what you are saying @Mohammad Matalkah is my wife and kids can file DS260 now ?

@aj k did you file yours? did you pay the fees? your family can file anytime before the interview. check with your lawyer if you have one.
