@h l i am also under i485 f2bwas not asked for an interview yet, priority date 09/2016. when did you file your I485? i believe you can call them or ask emma about any updates

@E A I filed I485 in 09/2022. I'm at Hialeah office right now. I've already asked Emma but they said there was no update yet.

@h l i filed the i485 in 10/2022. biometrics 11/2022, rfe 03/2023, response recieved 04/2023 and since then I had no updates. is it also the case with you until you had your interview scheduled?. regarding your question I think it should be alright, but you will need to ask your lawyer or maybe a congressmen to get you an answer?

@E A yes. I asked my attorney but she told me to wait until getting the decision. It's already been over 2 weeks

@h l i do not think you can get a decision before the priority date is current

what were the questions in your interview? I want to be prepared

@Eva Solano they just asked for my I-20, didn't ask for anything else. that was very quick bc they didn't recieve my document yet at that time.

yes I sent me rfe 9 months before I got my interview..still waiting though 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

@E A I talked to Emma but got no answer then they sent me an email that they would respone in 30 days but still nothing then. the interview was quick. he only check my I20 then told me to go home and wait. nothing new to update

@h l I also inquired through Emma and nothing yet for my case also same priority date as yours. i am hoping next visa bulletin dates will move, you think we will be current this fiscal year?

@E A I decided to stop school now. it's too stressful to deal with it and I'm running out of patient

@h l actually you should keep yourself busy. you should focus on school and do whatever needed to keep a positive perspective.

we are in the same situation even the same priority date, keep hopes up!
