I also updated from f2a to ir1 on march but no approval yet can somebody help pls. My case was filed on July 22,2022

like me i did my application on July 29 2022 and upgraded on September 17 2024 got approved the next day after they received it my husband just waiting for his interview I notified them by mail

PD : June 06,2023 Upgraded from f2a to ir1: May 07,2025 I-130 Approval : May 17,2025 I submitted my naturalization certificate and written letter on my USCIS account and call the USCIS 800 number

@kalid jamma can you please tell me how did you upgrade. PD: June 10, 2024 I-130 petitioner: U.S Citizen waiting until now status still on just received

@maisaa hmoud I become citizen on May 7 and I uploaded my naturalization certificate the same day and I also called the USCIS Custeror service +1-800-375-5283 I infopass and USCIS representative confirms my information and ask the reason of my call I told him I become citizen and I want to upgrade my petition from F2a to IR1. they give me inquiry number and told me to wait 30 day but my petition was approved 10 day letter

@maisaa hmoud Your PD is not current, USCIS is adjudicating cases submitted on march 20-April 2024. most likely USCIS upgraded. just wait until they reach June cases.

@kalid jamma what’s the format of your written letter?

@H K Simple letter with the petitioner and beneficiary information, stating that you want to upgrade your case, and then signing and dating it.

hi question so the visa bulletin only matters for f2a?? like f2a current date is jan 2022 so how about citizens like cr1 and ir1

i am confuse bcz i submitted all my documents to nvc and waiting for dq my category is f2a(india) so i dont know how much longer wait should i expect to schedule interview for my husband ..

@Disha Patel Yes I submitted my DS260,civil documents and financial documents on May 28. I am waiting for the DQed email hope I will receive next Monday.
