no he became citizen when his son was above 21 but his daughter was below 21 and now both the petitions are ir-2 he asked this through emma from USCIS officer and they said both are ir-2. now not sure what will happen @DoIt ForMe

but the petition was before 21 so that’s why I’m saying I’m not sure if it was protected through cspa but I guess if Emma saying it’s ir2 but he might have to still consult with a lawyer or google more info to make sure because those officer through Emma don’t know sometimes say whatever

@DoIt ForMe if the children is above 21 but got the GC for ir-2 category can he be automatically qualify for the citizenship. and can file a N-600 form to get a citizenship. what are the requirements for that?

if before 18 then child can apply for us passport with parents naturalization certificate . then apply for n600 if needed it for school records but that’s more expensive and takes 6-12 months to acquire
