(8/5) Right after oath ceremony, I uploaded my naturalization certificate online and a simple cover letter stating the request.
(8/7) Requested to upgrade petition via Emma live chat. Agent provided referral ID and set expectation to wait for at least 30 days
(9/7) I asked for an update via live chat again but got the same response that it may take longer than expected due to high volume
(9/11) got an email from USCIS that petition was successfully upgraded
(9/14) refreshed lawfully app, and seen the second AR > logged in USCIS account and saw the approval notice under documents tab
(9/15) got an email saying we’ve taken action to your case > logged in to USCIS account and they updated it as approved and case closed
