F2A then naturalized and upgrade to IR1
Does anyone has similar experience as me? I submitted F2A for my wife on Oct.06.2022, upgrade the citizenship in March 2023 but not sure if USCIS upgraded it, got RFE in June,2023, RFE response on July 07,2023. I would like to ask does RFE mean I will get a decision soon?

We upgraded I130 before submitting 485. The only confirmation we got was in the receipt notice for 485 it said it was processing as spouse of a citizen. To answer your question, there's no way of telling with the RFE. Some people have gotten a response within 48 hours of submitting a response. I'm at 5 months since responding with no decision. Some people have hit 18 months since responding with no decision.

@T Nguyen I first uploaded through online three months ago, and also attached the docs in the RFE Response, but I called uscis two weeks ago and the agent says it was still F2A, but she created the upgrade request for me and gave me a tracking T1B……..MSC…

same my situation... You should do 3 ways at the same time... Firstly, Call or Chat with Uscis to create a request to inform Us citizen ( within 45 days ). Secondly,Go to NVC and write a Public Inquiry Form Online to inform. Lastly, write a letter and attach the document to send to NVC.
