of course you HAVE to wait till your visa bulletin become current. Being actively reviewed is doesn’t mean anything, mine have been actively reviewed for the second time after my I-130 approved since more than one year and nothing happens since the visa bulletin stuck. And the visa bulletin is not moving for couple months now so the chances to become current soon is most likely impossible cause it’s almost the end of the fiscal year for USCIS. Your congresswomen is right, they can’t do anything since the visa bulletin is not current so you need to wait until it’s reached your priority date. since now the visa bulletin is on November 2021 so yours is 2 years behind. don’t be confused just be patient cause we can’t do anything in this situation, hang in there!

We are in the same situation, may I ask how did you reach to the congress person? i will hopefully have my case being current soon and i wanna check whether a congress person can support expidite the case once its current cheers

I have 3 more years until I become a citizen 😞 What I don’t understand is, if we’re waiting for the USCIS bulletin to be current, why do we have to wait again for the visa to become available and to get an appointment during the consular process? That’s suck

Hi guys, please ask the person filling for you if they are your immediate relatives to become a US citizen that will take care of all this. If a US ci6files for an immediate relative there is no waiting on visa, they have unlimited. You are waiting for a visa to become available as the beneficiary of a green card holder. You cannot expedite as GC only citizen so Congress cannot help. Good luck all.
