@wilfred espinal according to uscis website it will take 32.5 months however some person seems to get approved a bit sooner

@wilfred espinal as soon as your spouse can apply for citizenship have them do it once the pass and get the certificate of naturalization you can then upgrade your petition from f2A to (CR1/IR1 this depends on how long you have been married) as this will allow you to be in a category where you don’t have to wait until a visa is available to get an interview after the petition is approved.

@A H She only has 1 year with her residence, she is 2 years away from applying to become a citizen

@wilfred espinal usually it takes 5 years before someone can apply is that your wife case is different why she would do 3 years.

@wilfred espinal my case was f2A just like urs applied in December 2019 and didn’t get approved til august 2022 and am currently still waiting on interview date
