F2A spouse application. i-130 just got approved today and there was an 'update' to my i-485 at the same time.
The i-485 update was just the same as before (USCIS is actively reviewing your case). Anybody know why they would 'update' my i-485 to the exact same status as before? Seems strange that they would do it at the same time that my i-130 was approved...
Also worth mentioning that my PD is not yet current in the F2A category. (Does anybody have any thoughts on what will happen in the October visa bulletin?).

my I-130 was approved on April and still waiting for I-485 :))
but I know someone who got the 485 approval in 10 days after the I-130 approval in July 2023 and the F2A visa was also not current

@S B Wow. How can that happen? I didn't think an i-485 could get approved if the PD wasn't current. What was their priority date?

the same happened to me for my I130 and I485, once I130 was approved there was also the same update for the I485, but it has been more than a month and still waiting. Have u gotten your I131 (parole advance) approved? i’m still waiting for that.

@Lili P. still waiting for advance Parole. I desperately want to travel home and see my family. I have already missed family weddings and so many important things. it's heartbreaking

@Matt F same boat here :(. It is so frustrating, I have been also waiting for so long to travel and see my family. I had to cancel many things abroad as well. I’ll be praying that you will get the parole or the green card really soon. All things happen in the right time, even if we don’t understand. Jesus is faithful.
