F2A 2022-2023 cases
For F2A applicants from 2022–2023, it feels like we need to wait forever. I’m really fed up with this process. It doesn’t feel like they are processing cases in the order they received them.
People with 2025 cases who came on B1/B2 visas, got married to green card holders, and filed for adjustment are getting approved so quickly. Meanwhile, people from 2022–2023 with genuine marriages, clean records, and completed interviews are still waiting for a decision. if they don’t want to give us the green card yet, at least give us some decision. Even visa bulletin was current from last 1 year. Our whole life feels stuck because of this. We miss our families so much and cannot be there to support them physically during their difficult times. Really get exhausted day by day!

@B A same! This is bullshit! They’re approving and working on cases from 2025 and 2026, but when it comes to cases from 2022 and 2023, they just say, “Your case is still within normal processing times.”

@ B s and M S totally agree. Even when you call to enquire its an issue. They either cut you off or end the conversation while speaking to a tier online. This system is really in a mess yes! July 16th 2023 Nebraska service center still waiting for approval.

Honestly, they are really going too far with how unfair they are being regarding the logic applied to cases like ours—people who are doing things the right way by filing for family members and waiting to go through legal channels. We face more obstacles than those seeking adjustment of status—people who need multiple waivers or have a history of unlawful presence yet manage to fix their status in less than five or six months—while we wait an eternity just to be with our families. I’m not saying that those adjusting status from within the country don’t have the right to get a green card, but there should be some order and fairness to the process, especially since they are at least already with their families. Sorry for the way I’m putting this, but it’s just the frustration of feeling completely powerless.

Yes @Evelin, Something caught my attention. People who entered the country illegally have been able to get green cards, while I’m trying to bring my wife here legally, as someone who pays taxes, but they keep making the process difficult. This is really unfair. filed in april 2023 no progress! I’m in touch with my lawyer and will start mandamus

@Evelin Tamayo yes but people who came on tourist visa, got married to green card holder and approved faster than also it’s not a right process. we are awaiting from 2023, visas are current from past 1 year. 2025 cases got current recently they are processing that cases
