you can terminate your status it’s fine but the problem is if they don’t approve your i485, you won’t have any status and the only option is to leave the states! if they approve you, you’ll be good. The choice is yours buddy

@the king Jr good point, never risk your f-1 status until your i-485 have been granted, note the i-485. By the way immigration aside don't you plan to graduate from school after studying so hard? It might make sense and be helpful to you to finish what you started!

June 2021 . I received my EAD august 10, 2021 . My EAD was based in other case. but I also have I-40 pending. I am under F1 visa while waiting . I am able to work with my EAD For hardship. my friend submitted a I-485 . he has his approval in 2 months. and his I-40 is still pending.
