f1 status
since I got my ead and ssn. my i485 still pending but I'm current since Jan 2024. my question is do I need to maintain f1 status or can I stop taking classes and start job now.

@It’s safer to continue to maintain you F1 status till you get your green card.
If you may use your EAD after your F1 status expires and you haven’t received your green card.

when is the expiration of your EAD? if it is 5 years you are good!
