expedited request
Hello family,
so I expedited my husband case in November 11 and due to living with my husband outside the USA, I had to mail in my evidence. they received my evidence on December 08, 2021. and I waited for a months to hear an update or a decision nothing. So, I called in January and requested to speak to a tire two officer, it took 20 days to hear back so she told me to give it 45 to 60 days to hear a decision. and until today I haven’t heard back and it has past the 60 day timeframe. Did anyone has to go to the same thing?

Yep, going through the same thing for my wife. Filed expedite on the 26th of January this year and they said an officer will contact me in 7 days, I contacted them yesterday through Emma, an agent says that currently because of very high volume of these requests it takes 30 days to get a decision. Yours sounds way pay due, you need to contact your state ombudsman and file a complaint. This is ridiculous.

I’m currently outside the US with my husband do you think they will let me file a complaint while I’m outside the USA.

Sure, you can still call the ombudsman and email him from wherever you are.

I will definitely call him, thank you so much
