expedited request
I have a question for those of you who tried to expedite your I-485 . Did you receive a letter in the mail that said it has been forwarded on to the appropriate parties and if approved you would get a decision in the mail .has anyone had an expedited request approved and if so, how long after this later was it approved?

@Anabelle B all I did was ask an agent onEmma to expedite based on financial hardship. we’ve already been waiting 2 years to get approved and I will have to redo my medical

@Tenesha Newill basically what I’ve learned from my experience is they won’t expedite anything unless it’s a life or death situation. even if it’s for something like advanced parole and travel document to be able to obtain information they request, they still won’t approve an expedite. travel documents are the ones that usually get approved to be expedited but on very limited cases. my sister passed and I tried to expedite my travel document to be able to bury her with my family, and they STILL denied it. the way they do things seriously disgusts me sometimes
