Expedite request
Anyone with similar experience?
I filed for expedite request on Dec 28th ( healthcare worker however new application). My case was updated to "we received your response to our request for additional information regarding expedite processing of your Form I-765" yesterday.
However I never received any email for additional documents and haven't sent any additional documents yet. I spoke with live agent today who basically told me to wait for 7 more days before calling back. I am really confused. Does it mean that my expedite request will be likely denied?

I also filed an expedite as a healthcare worker on December 29th. On Jan 4th evening they sent an email asking for evidence to be faxed. I faxed the next day Jan 5th and still haven’t heard anything. I contacted a live agent online yesterday and was told to wait 7 business days

no I just said that he’s unemployed and can’t work with an EAD which is significant affecting us financially

My online case was updated to new card being produced today morning but USCIS agent I spoke to few minutes back informed me that it does not mean my EAD is approved yet. Keeping my fingers crossed

praygod 2021 congrats! Was it your first EAD or renewal? Did you have any other valid visa that allows you to work or you were already unemployed?

@Ana G C: I am on H4, unemployed for 6 months and it was my first EAD. @Medic Al: I submitted for expedite for i765 and both me and my husband's (who is primary applicant) i765 and i131 was approved.

Awesome. That is exactly my situation so I was afraid since my H1B is still valid they are gonna denied my ER. That gives me hopes. Thanks so much for sharing!

Last question. By chance have you traveled abroad while i131 was pending? I have traveled and my lawyer told me I need to reapply for i131.

Well it seems I am not lucky. I called USCIS 3 times and they say I cannot submit an ER as a healthworker category since it is not a renewal even I am pending since Feb 1st 2021.
