try to ask your congressman or senator for help

I’ve asked him over 5 times. The last being this past Monday. He said there’s nothing he can do

they’re going to deny the expedite request eventually

I tried expediting mine as well and I’m from a banned country

I completely my biometrics since January

oh I think they can’t do anything cause you are from a banned country, so until the ban is lift it can’t be process/adjusticated

that’s what they keep telling me “You are not eligible to request expedite processing at this time. Our records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. We cannot provide you with a completion date at this time”

@Oliver Farm How many times have you completed your biometrics? before expedite request and after

I expedited mine on December 31st 2025. I kept calling to check if there’s any update, but they kept telling me to wait for an email or call from the processing center. After 90 days, I called back and the representative was so nice he said he will put a ticket for me. The next day I got approved. No evidence submitted. Received it in April

@Xha Cha thanks for sharing. I have continually called. A ticket was raised early last month. I am told to wait they will call me. What did you tell the officer before a ticket was created for u? Was your reason for expedite family related?

@Oliver Farm My reason was family related, but I stated that it was due to “humanitarian reasons”. Try calling back with the case number and ask for a follow up. I asked the officer if there was any field office available that I could take all supporting documentation to and get an emergency travel document. if you call, maybe suggest that

@Xha Cha are you from one of the banned countries? How did you submit your expedite request, was it the same time you submitted the I-131 application? Was it online?

@Oliver Farm I am not from the 39 banned countries. I submitted the expedite request months after I filed. I filed in August and expedited in December. Well, December 31st, 2025

@Bred John i hope so too. I was told that a tier 1 officer will call me within 10 days.

I submitted a new request June 3rd and I’m still yet to get a call back from tier 2 officer

@A B I also submitted a new request and I called twice yesterday to follow up and the agents I spoke with hurriedly ended the call both times

I was told there’s a backlog for expedite requests hopefully it gets to our turn soon 🤞🏾
