Expedite Request (I-131)
Hi everyone, I have a question about my expedite request.
I originally submitted my expedite request on May 6 and I have called USCIS two or three times since then to follow up.
Every time they told me the same thing — that I would get a response within 10 days — but no one ever contacted me.
This morning I called again and this time they told me they will close the old expedite request and open a new one for me.
I’m not really sure if opening a new expedite request is good or bad for my situation.
Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone have any advice or knowledge about how this works?
I would really appreciate any help or insight. Thank you so much.

@M Y did u get any approve notice? my I-131 was aproved a year ago for 5 years but the actually travel document never was sent to my lawyer ! I been waiting for almost 624 days since i submitted my application to be honest with u im not even worried about the document because im not planning to travel undef this administration so im just waiting for my vawa to get approved and eventually get my residence permit! so good luck to you!
