that's great, Can you share how did you expedite ( reason and proofs)

My Mother is sick! i provided a Doctor’s Letter and I wrote a cover letter explaining the Emergency.

@Carla N My mother is going to have surgery. A week ago, I applied for Expedit for my travel document. I have not heard an answer yet. When do you think they will respond to my request?

I'm going thru the process for refugee travel document @Carla N , My father is sick and he's going to get medical attention outside of my country of origin. what appointment did you request, could you explain please? I reached out to them they said I need to wait at least 1 month to get a response to my expedite request. Please help!

@Immigration Guy I called them to make an appointment. the agent I spoke with told me she will escalate my case to her supervisors and let them know that I submitted an expedited travel document with all the evidences. that’s how I got mine! my advice is to call them for an appointment, I hope you submitted all the evidences regarding your father, if not you can still do it… hope it helps!

yes all of them were sent at the very beginning. so correct me if I'm wrong, you asked to make an appointment and they took it to Tier 2 agent who usually calls you within 1 day or 2 and you said you wanted to make an appointment at a field office to get an expedited refugee travel document due to your emergency? and then they scheduled an appointment and you went to the field office to get it? very impressive, I'll see if I can get that when I call uscis. @Carla N

I thought they only do that for advance parole and not Refugee travel documents

@Immigration Guy to get someone on the phone( when I called Uscis) I said I wanted to make an appointment but since I explained to the agent that my application for Travel document was expedite and I had sent all the evidences with it, she said she will forward my case to a supervisor and It will take 72 hours to get an answer in my email. I received an email few days later saying that my case was treated as expedite and I did not need an appointment! a week later a received approval and travel document.

did you request the appointment before or after your expedite was approved? because mine is not approved yet no decision and it has been a month :/

@Immigration Guy try to send them a recent letter from the doctor who is treating your father!
