1.write a letter explaining your situation and explain about your fathers and your mothers issues. 2. get a letter from the doctor describing your mothers situation and why it is necessary to do surgery. 3. explain in your letter you need to take care of your mom as a care giver before and after surgery. 4.gather all the mri,ct scan, x rays, prescription medicine. all the profile of your mom and translate it to English if it is not in English. 5. make 3 copies and send one to Uscis vermont service center *on top of the envelope write attn-humanitarian unit & expedite request in bold letters. and keep the proof of delivery 6. reach out to your local congressman and request them to do a expedite your vawa and explain that you have a humanitarian reason and they will send one request to Uscis. 7. follow up with your congressman in a week. 8. if you have any questions or need help I’m here to help

I had a similar issue,I requested an expedite processing they replied and told me to rather expedite I-131 and not 485. every case is different,no harm in trying

@Tom Bom Doesn’t matter who thinks what, every case every situation is different. Don’t waste your time thinking if you will be successful in expediting your case. You never know until you give it a try! Telling you with my own experience, I tried and succeeded in expediting my VAWA for medical reasons.

Even if they deny your request, you lose nothing. Good luck brother!

i did my and was denied!!! it's hard to expedite 360 especially if you have 131...easy to expedite if its humanitarian factors for in here.... give it a trial, you have nothing to lose

if your concern is to travel for the reasons you mentioned. your field office will be more than happy to help you with Advance parole. schedule an info pass appointment, go with the document necessary and make sure you go with your birth certificate to show relationship with your parents.

@………waiting still waiting……. and @ok ok and @March 2023 they are all right and have said my exact words in my mind. you have to try first and you don’t know what can happen. besides your PD is 2021 so that might also count that they will approve you. also you need to be detailed and emotional in your letter. that’s the only way USCIS will resonate with you. tell them how it’s affecting you emotionally and psychologically and you need this and very important to be able to calm you down as you are always thinking and going to deep depression. I’m sure they will honor your request. like @ok ok said if they don’t approve then they will issue you AP and that should suffice for you to go back home and return back but done stay too long alright. and as @ march 2023 said cases are different so fingers crosssed and be positive about it and all will work out. give it your all and try okay. let us know how it goes.
