Expedite EAD - marriage based - chance of approval?
#ead #expedite #congressman #emma #aos #I-765 Hello, I have pending case AOS Priority Date 03/31/2023 Married to U.S. Citizen Concurrently filing I-130, I-485, I-765. Adjusting from F-1 Student (Changed status from B-2 Visitor to F-1 in december) I have financial hardship. It took a turn for the worse. And it started to be a problem between me and my husband. This is emotionally draining. We recently bought a house together through mortgage. I got some bills under my name. I don’t have my name on mortgage due to not having income to prove. I saw some posts that people were trying to expedite their EAD via Emma while the others were trying to process with congressman. What do you think? Which way should I try first? I have car insurance, phone bill, water bill and electricity(joint) under my name, and some doctor appointment because of my really high blood pressure and some debts from hospital (from september). Do you think that I have to have job offer in addition to all the things above mentioned? Should I mention about hardship in our marriage in consequence of unemployment? P.S : I have social security number from my previous Work and Travel program. Should I try to expedite by myself firstly? Thank you so much for your opinions!

Hello @Fulya TR I think you can call the USCIS call center and try to expedite yourself. The call agent can put in your expedite request and you will get an email to submit documentation at a later time. Good luck 👌

talk to your lawyer if you have one. I guess you shouldn’t talk about the problem in relationship as it defeats the purpose. but the bills and medical issue is good enough reason.

Yes, try expediting! It doesn't hurt and will never affect your pending case. However, I request for expedited my EAD card as well but after submitting the supporting documentation on 04/30/23 until now I haven't heard back from them yet. I received an email from USCIS asking for supporting documents on 04/29/23.
