Expedite
So I had requested for an expedite yesterday suggesting that my husband is a US army disabled veteran who is not working (financial loss) and I am expecting (im also his dependent) and this morning USCIS sends me an email saying this (and btw all these evidences were already provided to the officer at the interview 6 weeks ago) : “Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. Please make an InfoPass appointment to come into the local field office so that we may better serve you. Bring a copy of your case receipt notice and supporting evidence. “ what should we do? should we just wait or go ahead and go to the office and bring the evidence again that they already have? Thank you

I would just go as soon as possible. Bring all the documents including a print out of this email from USCIS.

@Divine: If I was told to do anything like that, I would have been on the phone to make that appointment by the first second after receiving this email. I agree with @Joshua Just do what you’re asked to do, you have nothing to lose by doing so.

Divine SFeb 18, 2022
please tell me how it goes. cause I don’t know what to do. I want to wait a bit more too.

Jessica PFeb 18, 2022
okay ! I’m think about to do that on Monday and I’ll be back here and tell you

Same response but directly denied. Seems like they extremely restrict the standard for expediting. Last time, It works but not for the renewal this time. Cost 1 year's waiting for a 5 minutes' approval, damn Texas service center

@Jessica: I hope they are not asking every single person requesting expedite processing to do so. If it’s the case maybe they are trying to kill the time. They know it will take time for someone to call you back to set up the appointment after you request it then the appointment will be for some time in the future. That will give them time to not do anything for us in need of our case to be approved. This is crazy.

sometimes I feel there is nothing to do but wait
D
Divine SFeb 18, 2022
I really think that in my case I should wait too. all the required evidence are with them and now i have to gather everything together, set an appointment with them again. I will wait until next week too and see what happens first @jessica

D
Divine SFeb 25, 2022
so I will just wait I guess
J
Jessica PFeb 25, 2022
ohh it’s probably because of Covid. I’m waiting as well. very frustrating
abii AbiiFeb 25, 2022
I saw some people been to their office, even in Covid, just keep asking them and bugging them
D
Divine SFeb 25, 2022

Divine SFeb 25, 2022
