Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m considering submitting an expedited request to USCIS and would really appreciate any advice or experiences you might have. For those who have gone through this process, could you share what steps you took, what you included in your request, and what you said in the email? I’m in a particularly difficult situation right now. I have a 5-month-old child with someone else, not my abuser, but I was also facing abuse from my child’s father. I’ve managed to escape that situation, but I feel like I need to go somewhere else for a while to catch my breath. I have a good job, but the emotional toll of everything has left me feeling overwhelmed and depressed. I really need to see my family and friends overseas to help me regain some strength. I sent some doctors reports and wrote a letter that I would like to marry someone to start a new life to get out of the depression. They approved my request 4 days after they reviewed my documents. From there it took additional 10 days to get my Vawa approved

@Question Mark I’m not sure about the email but my attorney sent it via postal. They responded after 4days and it took additional 10 days to get approval

@Mandy Miss unfortunately my doctor reports are confidential so I’m not able to send them to you but give me your email, I’ll explain in detail. and I have no copy of the letter. the original copy was sent out to the uscis.

@jay c the letter was written by my attorneys paralegal based on my verbal statement. I actually had an accident at the subway and I was hospitalised and they reported that I became dizzy from overthinking and depression. and my gynaecologist reported depression as well

I also said in the letter that I have been in relationship with someone but I am not able to get married until my vawa approval. I explained that I’m a Muslim and I can’t be in a relationship without marriage
