Expected Retrogression Question
I have a pending AOS with CRP status since December. My priority date became on April and now i am waiting for the decision but everywhere I read it says that July bulletin will have some retrogression for the employment based category. So if the priority date moves back does that mean they stop looking at your case again? I mean being current for almost 3 months now i’m hoping they at-least have moved my case ahead somewhat in the line but all that progress moves back again?

@R M if you are affected by retrogression they definitely won’t look at your case until you are current again . This is not fair , but it is reality

@R M i am in the exact same scenario. CRP in December, came current in April, now hit with possible retrogression again. luck sucks, and this isn’t fair at all, but nothing I can do.

your only chance is if your CRP case has already been assigned with a visa number, in that case they may still approve it and you'll have to ensure the visa number allocation happened when you were actually current and not after the retrogression by error cos then they may take your card away later down the road

you'll have to inquire with them but first get approved while not current then worry about it
