Exective order
President Trump just signed an executive order saying ALL federal employees must return to in.-person work. Hoping this will speed up processing times. 🤞

I feel it’s the other way. Until now, they could work during weekends (hence, getting notifications during times during holidays.)

@A Johnson There is so much work time wasted being at home. So much distraction especially if you have a kids, pets or household chores that need to get done.
Work from home has never been productive unless your job specifically gives you a target to meet.

Not too sure but let's hope for the best. I am personally more productive home than onsite. Working extra hours or after office hours. I sometimes wonder what it takes to decide on a case with all the necessary doucement and data to help ease the decision making.

Or they will all be mad with the decision and work even slower, who knows.. 😁

wow that explains a lot then! in my country, during covid times most office job would work from home, and when they were allowed to work on site again all the companies had their employees to go back work on site because most of them wouldn't be productive at all. Like most employees won't make much efforts if nobody is watching them unless they get commission but I don't think gouvernement employees get commissions

Lmao! smh

working from home is how to be lazy, they can’t track productivity and efficiency, I didn’t even know federal employers were allowed to work at home tbh.

umm I work for the government, different agency, and i was putting in twice the work at home bc at the office people are constantly walking in and bothering you and distracting from tasks. Govt workers are paid half of private sector equivalents and are incredibly understaffed. I can promise you my dog doesn't interrupt me half as much as people in the office so that's a silly assumption. there are very few who abuse the system like that, just like private sector people do as well.
