It is too early to predict precisely. Many standalone spousal I-130s take many months and sometimes over a year depending on service center and workload. For a U.S. citizen spouse, there is no visa bulletin backlog after approval, but NVC and embassy steps still take time. Check USCIS processing times for your I-130 category and only submit an inquiry when the tool allows it.

@Saad Iqbal we got approved by uscis (we did send a demand letter 30 days ago and yesterday on the 29th day we got the approval), now on to nvc. did you hear anything?

@séra retmier wow such a great news, congratulations on approval, I've been working with my congresswomen it's been 3 months last month they gave us 30 days timeline on today's date 25 September 2026 that ends but still nothing happened idk what else to do, can you explain a little how did your congress representative worked for your case?

@Saad Iqbal we sent it ourselves and drafted it with ai and some posts on reddit that are kinda like a guide on how to do it. we didn't involve congress we just had asked them previously for help as well as cis ombudsman and others but nothing helped. so we sent the demand letter and gave them 30 days
