Enquiry for i-130 case
hi good day everyone. please is there anyone here in UAE. please need to know if its necessary to translate my marriage certificate to english? i did my marriage in abu dhabi court. and the marriage certificate has both english and Arabic on both ends of the sheet. my worry is do i still need to translate it to english and submit to the USCIS?

this is a good question. it seems logical that you would not need to translate but it would be smart to translate to avoid an RFE. it definitely slows down your case

@H 11 You are correct. I did the same in Dubai. My 2 cents, for what it’s worth, would be to select your home country for consular processing because the wait time in Abu Dhabi is currently 13-15 months. My husband is from Nigeria where the wait time is about 7 months. God speed to everyone! 🤗🙏🏼
