employment authorization renewal
I applied to renew my EAD since December 4, 2023 but I am yet to get the acknowledgement letter(I-797).
I have called uscis many times and they said they cannot find anything on the system that I should write to Vermont center which I’ve done but to no avail. I called back on Friday and they said my application is at vawa office that if I do not receive it in two weeks I should write/ call vawa office but I do not have the contact number for vawa office.
what next do I do because my employer has notified me that if I don’t get a replacement at the expiration of the one I’m working it, that they will terminate my appointment, kindly advise

did they send you the receipt ?! if yes use it for renewal you work contract with your employer! with the old EAd,
now sending a new EAd it may take up to 7 months, however I heard they will come with 5 years expiration

u didn't get the receipts? it takes a while now to get receipts as well. send them mail to vermont

they did not send the receipt yet and I have sent a letter to Vermont center but no response still

@chil udex you have to wait their response since you sent an mail and the vermont will response surely as they did to me in the past. actually this doesn’t have to take such long for you not to get the receipts, generally it takes 2-4 weeks for all
