It’s always good to vent over, this whole process is testing our patience and our ability to accept the unacceptable sometimes… Nothing is fair, nothing is logic, their technology is lying to us, but that’s the « game »…. Stay positive my friend 🙌🏽✨

my case was also moved to the Charlotte field office on the same day as yours and my progress timeline shows 3 months. Hoping we get good news soon.

EMMA needs to be fired. I have faced the exact situation so many times. Even when I click ‘connect to live chat’, she keeps giving me ‘Check our resources/help’ option. lol Finally when I do connect with someone and when I try to reply to the live chat she says ‘Service down please try again later’. This is the experience 6 out of 10 times. I think EMMA must be going through some personal/marital problems. She’s not giving her best. She could file for VAWA if her husband abuses her.

@Zubby Tems that makes me feel better. another guy that was sent to Charlotte after me already got approved. and he met and married his wife within 1 month and was approved after less than 6 months. i was wondering if mine got put in the “heavily investigate” pile lol. maybe they just flip a coin to see whose case they will look at

This process can really drive you crazy, and the worst part is that those agent do not help at all and always disconnect the chat without even telling us. I’ve been waiting for 15 months and by next month if I don’t hear from them I will definitely get a lawyer. this is some BS

this process is driving me crazy as well. 420 days three months after interview no decision, I am frustrated I don’t know what is taking them so long it is either yes or no.

@tas tas someone probably put your file on the counter next to the bathroom then forgot to pick it up on the way out. I swear they work like they’re in 1960

@Hope . I don’t think lawyers help. for real I paid mine 4K and she just organized my documents for me.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 oh wow that’s a lot of money just to organize some documents. They keep telling me that my interview is waived but they are not sending me the GC lol. Your interview is also waived right?

@Hope . Emma told me last year that it was waived. I asked an Emma today and the only thing she said before cutting off was “I do not see that your interview is waived”. which I don’t know what that means.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 the worst part about it they don’t update the case online and when I am try to find out what is going on Emma is like case is in review nothing is outstanding at this time. makes no sense if the case is in review why online says that interview is scheduled from March until now.

@tas tas I know. if they made ACTUAL info available online we wouldn’t even need Emma. like “look your 485 is in a queue in someone’s list and you’re 87th in line. or “we sent a background check to your country and haven’t heard back yet”. like SOMETHING so we at least feel like we are out of the dark. people who have been in this game for 90 days have no idea the frustration.
